We were asked to produce a film about the value of Independent Advocacy for families at risk, advocacy workers and other professionals as a training and awareness-raising tool, and for the general public to raise awareness of Independent Advocacy.
We made an animation that highlights how independent advocacy can support at risk families dealing with learning disability, mental health, and substance abuse, using elements of true stories to illustrate the key messages. The film was produced in English, Polish, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, French, with a British Sign Language version.
What they say
“It highlighted to me that with media co-op, we have a meeting of minds, we agree on human rights, equality and diversity. I don’t have to explain these things to media co-op and that’s one of their huge strengths.”
