Nature Networks Matter

Scottish Environment LINK

  • A watercolour illustration of a salmon leaping up a river. It is blocked by a dam.
  • A group of people in outdoor clothes investigate a rockpool

Scottish Environment LINK was looking for a way to explain nature networks in a way that was relatable and engaging.

We held workshops to pin down the best examples of existing nature networks. Then we collaborated with LINK’s partner organisations to collect archive to illustrate our stories.

We worked with over 70 hours of footage from 10+ environmental organisations to edit this beautiful film celebrating Scotland’s landscape, seascape, and wildlife. Together with bright graphics and powerful voiceover, the finished project is an impactful look at why nature networks matter.
