media co-op had a great time yesterday at the launch of the Women’s Support Project animations! We made three films (in five languages!) with the help of WSP’s amazing volunteers. The films were all about common dilemmas and cultural problems that might affect migrant women moving to the UK for the first time – like bride price, parenting, and what services they can access.

The films were recorded in English, Swahili, Lingala, French, and Arabic so that as many women as possible can use them. Plus they have signposting for both Scottish listeners and UK listeners!

The launch at the CCA in Glasgow was a great success. It was a joy to hear so much positive feedback from communities and organisations alike.
