Making films more accessible

If you’re commissioning work from media co-op, we can make it more accessible for people who are deaf or who have trouble hearing or seeing, and for speakers of other languages with: BSL, Subtitles, Language versioning (dubbing or subtitling – or both) & Audio-description

Examples:

mediaco-op’s Paul Cameron produced and directed all the the films for the NHS Scotland resource How to use the NHS. This resource explains how to use the NHS’s primary services and it is predominantly aimed at people whose first language isn’t English. The resource was dubbed into 16 languages and included  BSL/ subtitled versions of the films.

How to use an NHS pharmacy in Scotland (BSL and Subtitled version)

How to find an optician in Scotland (Gaelic version)
