MoJo On The Green involved a group of young LGBTQI activists working with media co-op on a three-day intensive training programme to learn mobile journalism techniques and develop a social media strategy to promote inclusion and sport for all during the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
The campaigners produced sixteen videos on topics ranging from cycling to athletics, and swimming to art, which were posted on Facebook and Twitter, and achieved over 10,000 views. The young activists presented MoJo On The Green at a Year of Young People legacy event, and they took centre stage beside a BBC producer to interview transgender cyclist and Pride House champion Philippa York in front of a live audience.
