media co-op is offering a 13-week paid Film Marketing internship. We have produced two feature-length documentaries and need a smart, enthusiastic, informed and well-organised “film marketeer” to help us set up the tour and to promote the screenings across the UK. The two films are: “Man for a Day” which premiered at Berlinale and has already screened to sell out audiences in Germany and Mexico; and “The Bridge Rising” which will have its Scottish premiere at Celtic Connections in Glasgow in Jan 2014, alongside the release of an album inspired by the film’s soundtrack. This Film Marketing internship is part-funded by Creative Scotland /SCVO’s Arts and Creative Industries Graduate Internship programme, with specific eligibility criteria. You must be aged 30 or under, with a relevant HND/Degree or higher, some relevant experience – and not in employment on the day you apply (you don’t have to have been unemployed for any specific number of weeks).
