BRIEF
Maryhill Integration Network and the White Ribbon Campaign needed a short campaigning film to challenge preconceptions about refugee men’s attitudes to women.

WHAT WE DID
media co-op led hands-on participatory workshops with over 60 refugee and asylum-seeking men over a period of months, to help them create their own award-winning online film with beauty and surprises.

A Strong Man was the winner in the charity category at The Herald Scottish Digital Business Awards 2016, and the film was screened on STV news.
